Situations when Dua is Accepted

1) When a person has been wronged or oppressed  2) When a person finds themselves in severe difficulty. 3) After a calamity has struck a person.  4) The one who is traveling.  5) The one who is fasting.  6) The one who is reciting the Quran or has just recited the Quran. 7)The one who is performing Hajj or Umrah.  8) The one is making a Dua for someone in their absense.then an angel says ameen, unto you.  9) The one who is in a state of remembering Allah constantly.  10) A Just Ruler (leader) 

Eat Suhoor, for suhoor there is a blessing

It was narrated that Anas ibn Maalik (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Eat suhoor, for in suhoor there is blessing.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1923; Muslim, 1095.  This hadeeth indicates that the fasting person is commanded to eat suhoor because there is a great deal of goodness and blessing, both spiritual and worldly, in it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) mentioned the blessing so as to encourage us to eat suhoor.  It was narrated from Jaabir that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever wants to fast, let him eat something for suhoor.” Narrated by Ahmad, 14533; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in  al-Silsilah al-Saheehah , 2309. The command here is in the sense of it being mustahabb, not obligatory, based on the fact that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and his companions observed continual fasts, i.e.,...

Fasting as a mean of Removing Sins

                        Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger ( ﷺ ) said, "Whoever observes fasts during the month of Ramadan out of sincere faith, and hoping to attain Allah's rewards, then all his past sons will be forgiven."                         Sahih al-Bukhari 38

Things to do in Ramadan (reward is more)

1) Pray 5 times Obligatory salat (with 12 sunnah salat). 2) Pray Taraweeh. 3) Pray Tahajjud (Last one third of nights to get more reward). 4) Pray Salat Al Duha (starts half an hour after sunrise till Zuhr) 5) Do lots of Dhikr. 6) Seek Forgiveness from Allah. 7) Look for Night of Qadr in the last ten Nights of Ramadan. 8) Give Sadaqah (Charity). 9) Read Quran. 10) Feed fasting person. 11) Be in good behavior with everyone.

Islamic Days Prescribed For Fasting

1)  Monday and Thursday. 2) 13th, 14th, 15th of Islamic Calendar. 3) 10th of Moharram (Ashura), (sin of past year forgiven) and keeping on 9th also recommended. 4) Fasting in the months of Ramadan. 5) Fasting 6 days of Shawwal after the months of Ramadan (it is as fasted a whole year). 6) Fasting on day of Arafah the 9th of Dhul  Hijjah ( past and present sin forgiven for a year). 7) Blessing in Fasting 1st nine days before Dhul Hijja (till day before Eid Ul-Adha)

Great Reward of Praying the nights of Qadr

Sunnah to do Itikaf

Narrated `Aisha: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to practice Itikaf in the last ten nights of Ramadan and used to say, "Look for the Night of Qadr in the last ten nights of the month of Ramadan."                                                     Sahih al-Bukhari 2020

Four tips for Laylatul Qadr

     (One-night equals 83 years)                                        Better than a thousand months. 1)  One dinar(sadaqah) on that day will be like giving for 83 years. 2) 2 Rakat prayer on that day will be like praying for 83 years. 3) Reciting Sura Ikhlas 3 times will be like completing Quran for 83 years. 4) Any good deeds and dhikr will be like doing for 83 years

Night of Al-Qadr

The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months   (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping  Him a thousand months,                            (i.e. 83 years and 4 months)                                        Surah Al Qadr 97:3

Three whose Dua are not rejected

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger Of Allah (ﷺ) said: "There are three whose supplication is not rejected: The Fasting person when he breaks his fast, the just leader, and the supplication of the oppressed person; Allah raises it up above the clouds and opens the gates of heaven to it. Reward of Providing Food for Fasting Person

Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani narrated that:  The Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever provides the food for a fasting person to beak his fast with, then for him is the same reward as his (the fasting person's), without anything being diminished from the reward of the fasting person."                                                     Jami` at-Tirmidhi 807

Paradise has eight Gates

Narrated Sahl bin Sa'd:   The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Paradise has eight gates, and one of them is called Ar-Raiyan through which none will enter but those who observe fasting."                             Sahih al-Bukhari 3257

Good deed 10 to 700 times reward

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)  said, "If any one of you improve (follows strictly) his Islamic religion then his good deeds will be rewarded ten times to seven hundred times for each good deed and bad deed will be recorded as it is,"                                   Sahih al-Bukhari 42

Ruling of Qur'an on Missed Fasts

[Observing Saum (fasts) for a fixed number of days, but if any of you is ill  or on a journey, the same number (should be made up) from other days. And as for those who can fast with difficulty, (e.g.an old man, etc.), they have (a choice either to fast or) to feed a Miskin (poor person) (for every day). Fasting in the month of Ramadan

Narrated Ibn `Umar: I heard Allah's Messenger ( ﷺ) saying, "When you see the crescent (of the month of Ramadan), start fasting, and when you see the crescent (of the month of Shawwal), Stop fasting; and if the sky is overcast (and you can't see it) then regard the month of Ramadan as of 30 days." Give Zakat-ul-Fitr before Eid Prayers

Charity and recitation of Quran in Ramadan

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet ( ﷺ) was the most generous amongst the people, and he used to be more so in the month of Ramadan when Gabriel visited him, and Gabriel used to meet him on every night of Ramadan till the end of the month. The Prophet ( ﷺ) used to recite the Holy Qur'an to Gabriel, and when Gabriel met him, he used to be more generous than a fast wind (which causes rain and welfare)                                                                                                  Sahih al-Bukhari 1902

Reward of Ablution (Wudu)

Uqbah b. `Amir reported: We were entrusted with the task of tending the camels. On my turn when I came back in the evening after grazing them in the pastures, I found Allah's Messenger ( ﷺ) stand and address the  people. I  heard these words of his: If any Muslim performs ablution well, then stands and prays two rak'ahs setting about them with his heart as well as his face, Paradise would be guaranteed to him.  I said: What a fine thing is this! Allah's Reward for Fasting

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet ( ﷺ) said, "Allah said: The Fast is for Me and I will give the reward for it, as he(the one who observes the fast) leaves his sexual desire,food and drink for My Sake. Fasting is a screen (from Hell) and there are two pleasures for a Fasting person, One at the time of breaking his fast, and the other at the time when he will meet his Lord. Good Behavior while Fasting

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet ( ﷺ) said, "Whoever does not give up false statements  (i.e. telling lies), and evil deeds, and speaking bad words to others, Allah is not in need of his (fasting) leaving his food and drink." Sahih al-Bukhari 6057

Surah Al-Mulk 67:2

Allah has created death and life, That He may test you which of you is best in deed Surah Al-Mulk 67:2 So are we living that life of good deeds? Are we living in a life of righteousness?

Eat Suhur

Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet ( ﷺ) said, "Take Suhur as there is a blessing in it."                  Sahih al-Bukhari 1923 It was narrated that Abu sa'eed al-Khudri said: The Messenger of Allah ( ﷺ) said: "Suhur is a blessed meal, so do not Omit it, even if one of you only tales a sip of water, for Allah and His Angels send blessings on those who eat suhur."           Musnad Ahmad 11003

Thanking Allah for Provision

Anas (ra) reported Allah's Messenger ( ﷺ) as saying: When you go to bed, say: "Alhamdu Lillaahil-Lathee 'At'amanna Wa Saqaanaa, Wa Kafaanaa, Wa'aawaanaa, Fakam Mimman Laa Kaafiya Lahu Wa Laa  Mu'wiya (Praise is due to Allah Who fed us, provided us drink, sufficed us and provided us with shelter, for many a people there is none to suffice and none to provide shelter)." Sahih Muslim 2715

No Dog, Photo And Statue in the House

Abu Talha reported: I heard Allah's Messenger ( ﷺ) as saying: Angels do not enter the house in which there is a dog or statue              Sahih Muslim 2106 b Narrated Abu Talha: The Prophet ( ﷺ) said, "Allah do not enter a house in which there is a dog or there are pictures." 70 Thousand Angels

It was narrated that 'Ali said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah( ﷺ) say: 'Whoever comes to his Muslim brother and visits him (when he is sick), he is walking among the harvest of Paradise  until he sits down, and when he sits down he is covered with Mercy. If it is morning,seventy thousand angels will send blessing upon him until evening, and if it is evening,seventy thousand angels will send blessing upon him until morning." Sunan Ibn Majah 1442

Dua after visiting the Sick

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: Allah's Messenger ( ﷺ) entered upon sick man to pay him a visit, and said to him, Laa Ba'sa Tahoorun inshaAllah "(Don't worry, Allah willing,(your sickness will be) an expiation for your sins)." Sahih al-Bukhari 5662

Dua for the Sick Person

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: The Prophet ( ﷺ) said: If anyone visits a sick  whose time (of death) has not come, and says with him seven times: As'alullah-Al-'Azeema Rabbal-'Arshil-'Azeemi An Yashfeek (I ask Allah, the Mighty, the Lord of the mighty Throne, to cure you, Allah will cure him from that disease). Sunan Abu Dawud 3106

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said,

"When you drink (water), do not breath in the vessel; and when you urinate, do not touch your penise with your right hand. And when you cleanse your self after defecation, do not use your right hand."                                                     [ Sahih al-Bukhari 5630 ]

Black Cumin

Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "There is healing in black cumin for all diseases except death."                                                         Sahih al-Bukhari 5688

Speak Good or Remain Silent

Abu Huraira narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, then let him honor his guest. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, then let him say what is good or remain silent."                                                     Jami' at-Tirmidhi 2500

May Allah Protection Us From Hell-Fire

Abu Huraira reported: We were in the company of Allah's Messenger ( ﷺ )  that we heard a terrible sound. Thereupon Allah's Apostle ( ﷺ ) said: Do you know what (sound) is this? We said: Allah and His Messenger know best. Thereupon the said: That is a stone which was thrown seventy years before in Hell and it has been constantly slipping down and now it has reached its base.                                               Sahih Muslim 2844 a

Follow the Sunnah

One of the Bearer of Allah's Throne

Jabir b. 'Abd Allah reported the Prophet ( ﷺ ) as saying: I have been permitted to tell about one of Allah's angels who bears the throne that the distance between the lobe of his ear and his shoulder is a journey of seven hundred year's.                                               Sunan Abi Dawud 4727

Importance of Treating Women Kindly

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah 's Apostle ( ﷺ ) said, "Treat woman nicely, for a woman is created from a rib, and the most curved portion of the rib is its upper portion, so, If you should try to straighten it, it will break, but if you leave it as it is, it will remain croocked. So treat woman nicely."                                                       Sahih al-Bukhari 3331

Siwak

A' Abdur-Rahman bin Abu `Atiq said: " My father told me: 'I heard ' Aishah say, (narrating) from the Prophet ( ﷺ ): " Siwak is a means of purification for the mouth and is pleasing to the Lord."                                         Sunan an-Nasa'i 5

Allah Descends to the First Heaven Every Night (At The Time Of Tahajjud)

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger ( ﷺ ) as saying: Allah descends every night to the lowest heaven when one-third of the first part of the night is over and says:                         I am the Lord; I am the Lord:   Who is there to supplicate  Me so that I answer him?  Who is there to beg of Me so that I grant him? Who is there to beg forgiveness from Me so that I forgive him?                     He continues like this till the day breaks.                                           Sahih Muslim 758 b

Be Kind to Your Neighbours

Narrated Abu Shuraih: The Prophet ( ﷺ ) said, "By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah,  he does not believe!" It was said, "Who is that O Allah's Messenger( ﷺ )?"  He said,  "That Person whose neighbour does not feel safe from his evil." Sahih al-Bukhari 6016  

Don't Wear Amulet (Taweez)

It was narrated from  'Uqbah ibn 'Aamir al-Juhani that Messenger of Allah ( ﷺ ) said: " Whoever wears An Amulet has committed Shirk." Narrated By Ahmad 16969

Acceptance of Dua After Asr on Friday

It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that: The Messenger of Allah ( ﷺ ) said: Friday is twelve hours in which there is no Muslim slave who asks Allah (SWT) for something but He will give it to him, so seek it in the last hour after `Asr. Sunan an-Nasai 26
